Feed the Garden Within You
A Gut Microbiome Education Initiative
Helping middle school students explore the science of the gut microbiome through engaging, evidence-based education.
Using the garden metaphor, students learn that their gut is a living ecosystem and that the foods they eat help nourish its growth.

Why It Matters
The gut microbiome is a complex community of trillions of microorganisms that influence everything from digestion and immunity to mental health and chronic disease prevention. By understanding this internal garden early, students gain the tools to make informed decisions about their health for a lifetime.

Every meal is an opportunity to nourish the garden within.
That is why Feed the Garden Within You exists.
Nurturing your gut is not just about what you eat it's about cultivation, care, and understanding the vibrant life within you.
